In Trinity Term, the Queen’s Translation Exchange (QTE) trained Oxford undergraduates to become Creative Translation Ambassadors, equipping them with tools to teach literature and language through translation during their Year Abroad placements.
We’re proud to see Oxford students becoming ambassadors in the fullest sense: bridging cultures, classrooms, and generations through the power of translation.

As the College prepares to welcome guests to a sold-out Ball tomorrow night, we’re looking back at the 1973 Easter Ball: the one that never happened.
From dreams of booking Wizzard and Arthur Brown’s flaming headdress (!) to lessons learned about budget spreadsheets and British weather, Paul Rex (Modern Languages, 1971) recalls how the ball was planned… and ultimately cancelled.
